Earthquakes - Products Overview

Radar interferometry is used to measure crustal deformation following a catastrophic earthquake. The observed deformation is then inverted to estimate the key fault(s) parameters. Several use cases have been studied in BEYOND:

•   The 12/11/2017 Iran-Iraq earthquake

•   The 13/11/2016 New Zealand earthquake

•   The Central Italy earthquakes, October 2016

•   The 24/08/2016 Amatrice earthquake

•   The 2016 Kumamoto earthquakes

•   The 2015 Lefkada earthquake

•   The 2015 Chile earthquake

•   Nepal Earthquake seen from Sentinel-1 Satellite

•   The 2008 Movri earthquake

•   The 1999 Athens earthquake
